Paula P. Nieto

McAllen - Paula P. Nieto entered eternal rest Saturday March 24, 2018 at the age of 89 surrounded by her loving family. Paula was born on October 11, 1928 to Genaro and Guadalupe Perez. She was a life long resident of McAllen. Paula worked at JC Penney Store (Downtown McAllen) for many years. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and spending time with her family. Paula truly enjoyed and lived her life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her husband: Juan Nieto; her parents; brother: Celestino Perez, Sr.; daughter-in-law: Berta G. Nieto; and three infant siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; David Nieto, Yolanda (Victor) Trujillo and Leticia Zamora; five grandchildren: Jacob (Francesca) Nieto, Anabel Nieto, Eric Trujillo, Karen Trujillo and Faith Zamora.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Hep Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow to Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
