Edinburg - Robbie Jo Gaona, 20, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at home in Edinburg. Robbie was born May 7, 1997 in Edinburg, Texas. She is the daughter of Roberto Gaona and Josefa Mata Reyes.

She is survived by her husband: Jorge Vargas; two children: Surenity Rae Vargas and Jorge Vargas, III; her mother: Josefa Mata Reyes; her father: Roberto Gaona; three sisters: Jessica Gaona, Iris Leyva and Amanda Nicole Gaona, three brothers: Randy Gaona, Robert Gaona and Rodney Gaona.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, May 22, 2017 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 9:00 am Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg.
