Rose Ramon Obituary

McAllen - Rose Marie Ramon, 85, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her home in McAllen. She was born June 23, 1932 in Edinburg, Texas. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America for 34 years and also served as past regent of the Catholic Daughter of America. She was a member of Pan American Round Table and an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church of McAllen. She is preceded in death by the love of her life : Avelino Ramon; and her parents: Jose and Beatrice (Galvan) De La Viña.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children: Rose Ann Ramon and Jose Eduardo (Missy) Ramon; sister: Blanca De La Viña Laurel; and three grandchildren: Joseph Ramon, Patricia Monet Ramon and Hailey Bree Falls.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, January 18, 2018 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2201 Martin Ave. in McAllen. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 19, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, 1201 S. Main St., McAllen.
