Abel Angel Garza

Mr. Abel Angel Garza,37, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 17, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Abel was born September 11, 1982 in McAllen to Sylvia (Marez) and Salvador Garza. Abel enjoyed weightlifting, running , staying active and fit. He enjoyed fishing. Abel loved to cook. Abel was a graduate of Sharyland High School class of 2001. Abel truly lived life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents- Gloria and Simon Marez; Paternal grandparents- Salvador and Ramona Garza.

Left to cherish Abel's memory is his mother-Sylvia Garza; His father Salvador Garza; His siblings- Salvador Garza III, Ricardo Garza, Gerardo Omar Garza, Erica Yvette Garza, and extended family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A celebration of life service will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
