Adelina Hernandez entered eternal rest Saturday, June 27,2020 at the Village Care Nursing Center in McAllen. She was born January 8, 1939 in Linares NL.,Mexico to Severo and Paula (Muniz) Rodriguez.

Adelina enjoyed being with her family, being a mom "ama" and grandma "wela", cooking for the family, attending church, helping those in need. She loved gardening, ceramics & painting. Adelina truly lived life to its fullest. She will forever be remembered and loved by her family and those that came to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her Spouse Jose G. Hernandez; Her sister Maria L. Gaona; Her brother- Victoriano Rodriguez.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved Daughters; Berta Burleson, Norma Reyes (Armando), Mirna Leal(Oberlin), Sylvia Gonzalez, Maria V. Hernandez, Yvette Hernandez; Her Siblings- Margarita Ibarra ,Benjamin Rodriguez, Juan Antonio Rodriguez , Maria L. Hernandez; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchilden.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, June 29,2020 at Rivera Funeral Home 1813 N Conway in Mission from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm. A celebration of life service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Laurel Hill cemetery in Mission.
