Alberto Mata

Mission ~ Alberto Mata, 66, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, April 8, 1958 the son of Alejandro Mata and Ricarda Campos. He is preceded in death by a son: Victor Mata.

He is survived by his wife: Juana Mata; his children: Gerardo Mata, Armando Mata, Juana Mata, Ismael Mata, Luis Mata, Eduardo Mata, and Eleazar Mata; brothers: Celestino Mata and Alvaro Mata; 17 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Visitation will continue from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Chapel Service will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Santa Fe Cemetery in Mission.
