Alberto Vargas

Pharr ~ Alberto Vargas, 64, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 24, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Thursday, July 27, 1961 in Tacoma, Washington, the son of Pedro Gomez and Lydia Vargas.

He is survived by his children: Alberto Vargas, Jr. and Angela Vargas; his mother Lydia Gomez; siblings: Billy, Frank, Pedro and Eduardo.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, October 26, 2025 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
