Alexander Gabriel Navarro Perez

Edinburg - Mr. Alexander Gabriel Navarro Perez entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the age of 33 years. Alex, as he was lovingly known by his family and friends, was born on September 29, 1985 in Pontiac, Illinois to Adalberto Perez and Sylvia Navarro. He was a long time resident of Edinburg and graduated from Edinburg High School Class of 2004. Alex was employed with the Hidalgo County Tax office since 2015 at the San Juan Office. He enjoyed watching racing events and was a big fan of Nascar and his Dallas Cowboys. Alex will dearly be missed by his family, his friends and his co-workers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Gabriel "Grover" Navarro, Jr., and Amelia G. Navarro; paternal grandmother: Emma M. Perez.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother: Sylvia Perez; step-father: Ronny Perez; his father: Adalberto Perez, Jr.; a daughter: Kayleigh Autumn Perez; siblings: Albie Perez, III, Andrew K. Perez and Aisha A. Perez; niece and nephews: Mila Grace Perez, Aiden J. Estrada and Jett M.Perez.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1910 Pecan Blvd., McAllen with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7:00 pm with Monsignor Juan Nicolau officiating. Cremation service will follow at later date.
