Alicia Rubio Hernandez

Mission ~ Alicia Rubio Hernandez, 93, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at her residence in Mission. She was born in Xilitlilla, Xilitla, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the daughter of Bacilio Rubio and Angela Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Antioco Acuña, and a daughter: Paulita Acuña.

She is survived by her children: Ernestina Sanchez, Bernardo Acuña, Paula Acuña de Leon, Loretta Mendez, Beda Acuña, Zoila Niño, Simplicia Acuña, Antioco Acuñ and Herninia Acuña; sister Cirila Rojas; 34 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, October 7, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission, Texas. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Xilitla, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Local services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
