Ana Lina Villarreal Obituary

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Ana Lina Villarreal, de 64 años, entró en sueño eterno el viernes 26 de junio de 2020 en el Hospital Médico de McAllen. Ana Lina nació en Pánuco, Veracruz, México, el 13 de febrero de 1956 de Gustavo y Lina (Calderón) Rodríguez. Ana Lina fue residente de Pharr durante muchos años. Ella era una amada esposa, madre, hija, hermana y amiga. Ana Lina vivió la vida al máximo y nunca miró hacia atrás. Amaba la vida y vivía todos los días como si fuera la última. Le encantaba viajar, fue a China con su mochila y su pasaporte. Fui a Europa y creé muchos recuerdos con su esposo. Jerusalén fue un sueño hecho realidad para ella y conoció a muchos amigos en todo el camino. Le gustaba comer fuera o simplemente salir a tomar un café en Ihop en momentos aleatorios solo para sentarse y hablar. Amaba su casa, el jardín y sus perros. Le encantaban las noches de lotería y jugaba sus 10 cartas favoritas a la vez. Ella tenía un amor incondicional por su esposo, hijas, hijo y nietos. Estaba en contra de la injusticia y defendió a los más vulnerables. Ella no tenía límites para ayudar a los demás. Ana Lina siempre será amada y recordada por su familia y aquellos que la conocieron.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres; Sus dos hermanos: Víctor Marconi Rodríguez y Gustavo Rodríguez II.

A la izquierda de la memoria de Ana Lina está su amado esposo José Luis Villarreal; Sus hijos, su hija Ana Elizabeth Villarreal y su esposo Eddie Guijarro; hijo José Luis Villarreal; hija: Aracely Edith Villarreal y su esposo Carlos Becerra y su hija Aidee Eleden Villarreal; 10 nietos; Sus hermanos: Esperanza Rodriguez, Miguel (Lucia) Rodriguez, Aidee (Jaime) Cantu, Janie (Hugh) Smythe.
Una reunión de familiares y amigos será el lunes 29 de junio de 2020 en Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. en McAllen de 5 PM a 9 PM con el recital del Santo Rosario para comenzar a las 7:30 PM. La celebración del servicio de la vida será el martes 30 de junio de 2020 a la 1:30 PM en la capilla de la funeraria con Monseñor Juan Nicolau para oficiar. Los servicios de entierro seguirán en el cementerio RoseLawn en McAllen.

Ana Lina Villarreal,64, entered eternal sleep Friday, June 26,2020 at the McAllen Medical Hospital. Ana Lina was born in Panuco,Veracruz, Mexico February 13,1956 to Gustavo and Lina (Calderon) Rodriguez. Ana Lina was a resident of Pharr for many years. 

She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter,sister,and friend. Ana Lina lived life to its fullest and never looked back. She loved life and lived everyday as if it was her last one. She loved to travel, went to china with her backpack and passport. Went to Europe and created many memories with her husband. Jerusalem was a dream come true for her and met a lot of friends throughout the way. She enjoyed eating out or simply going out for a coffee at Ihop at random times just to sit and talk. She loved her house, garden and her dogs. She loved lotería nights and would play her favorite 10 cards at once. She had an unconditional love for her husband, daughters, son and grandchildren. She was against injustice and stood her ground for the most vulnerable. She had no limits for helping others. Ana Lina will forever be loved and remembered by her family and those that came to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Her two brothers- Victor Marconi Rodriguez and Gustavo Rodriguez II. 

Left to cherish Ana Lina memory is her loving husband Jose Luis Villarreal; Her children- daughter Ana Elizabeth Villarreal and her husband Eddie Guijarro; son Jose Luis Villarreal; daughter- Aracely Edith Villarreal and her husband Carlos Becerra and her daughter Aidee Eleden Villarreal; 10 grandchildren; Her siblings- Esperanza Rodriguez, Miguel (Lucia) Rodriguez, Aidee (Jaime) Cantu, Janie (Hugh) Smythe. 

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, June 29,2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:30PM. A celebration of life service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 1:30PM at the funeral home chapel with Monsignor Juan Nicolau to officiate. Burial services will follow at RoseLawn cemetery in McAllen.
