Anastacia Flores Aleman

Anastacia Flores Aleman, 94, of Edinburg, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Born on April 27, 1932, in McAllen, Texas, Anastacia was the daughter of the late Manuel Flores and Guadalupe Sanchez. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to her home and, most importantly, to her family. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and for the many cherished memories created throughout her 94 years of life. She is preceded in death by her husband Nemencio Aleman and Leonel Saldana. 

Anastacia leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her family. She is survived by her daughter, San Juanita Salazar; her siblings, Urbana F. Gonzalez, Pedro S. Flores, and Francisca F. Rodriguez; four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Among those especially dear to her was her grandson, Jose Jesus “Chuy” Oviedo, whom she lovingly raised and with whom she shared a very special bond. All who knew and loved Anastacia will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

Her long life was a blessing to those who knew and loved her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, memories, and generations she leaves behind will remain a lasting testament to a life well lived.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in Mcallen. Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen, Texas.
