Antonio "Tony" Ray Solis

Mission ~ Antonio Ray Solis, affectionately known as Tony, was a beacon of joy and love in the lives of all who knew him. Born on February 22, 2019, in McAllen, Texas, Tony's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter filled the world for nearly six years until his untimely passing on January 4, 2025, in his hometown.

Tony's journey, though brief, was marked by the purest form of happiness and exploration. He attended Brillante School in Mission, where he was a bright and eager kindergartener. His enthusiasm for learning was evident in his love for singing the ABCs and the playful rhythms of "Hickory Dickory Dock." Tony's world was a kaleidoscope of joy, with red balloons, umbrellas, and stacking blocks adding color and adventure to his every day.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted parents, Yaressy and Juan Solis; his cherished siblings, Alexander and Azrael; and his adoring grandparents, Emma and Antonio Solis, along with Maricela and Federico Marin. Tony's legacy is one of pure love, a spirited and adventurous soul who reminded us all to embrace life with open arms and a fearless heart.

Let us honor Tony's memory by living as he did—boldly, lovingly, and with a zest for life that knows no bounds. His spirit will forever inspire us to find joy in the simplest of pleasures and to approach each day as a wondrous adventure.

For Thursday and Friday those attending the services please wear the color Red or bright color in honor and memory of Tony. No Black color please. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm at Rivera Funeral Home,1813 N. Conway, in Mission Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 10, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.
