Armando "Mandin" Parada, a true McAllen original known for his uproarious humor and boundless love, left us with smiles on our faces on December 5, 2023, at the age of 44. Born in McAllen on March 21, 1979, he managed to turn everyday life into a stand-up routine that kept everyone around him in stitches.
Mandin, a devoted father, leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love in his children, Stephanie, Armando, Joshua, Jaime, and Oscar, not to mention the comedic anecdotes that will live on through his father, Armando, and mother, Aida. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, WWE enthusiast, and an avid gamer, Mandin could debate the merits of a touchdown or a powerbomb with the same passion he defended his favorite Trump policies. His impressive collection of comic books and baseball cards was as legendary as his sense of humor.
Remembered as the life of every party, Mandin's funny, friendly, and loving nature will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Here's to you, Mandin, for making the world a brighter, livelier place.
Visitations will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
