Aurora Alvarez

Aurora Alvarez, 62, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, February 3, 1962 in Mexico, the daughter of Hijinio Alvarez and Maria (Rodriguez) Alvarez.

She is survived by her children: Miriam Aurora Ocañas, Juan Manuel Ocañas, Jesus Iván Ocañas, José Roberto Ocañas, María Guadalupe Ocañas, Jorge Luis Ocañas, Javier Angel Alvarez and Joel Arturo Alvarez; her husband: Guadalupe Rodriguez; .

Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, March 18, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at 1:45 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
