Azariel Lara

Azariel “Archie” Lara, 50, of McAllen, TX, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 13, 2022. He was born on August 15, 1972 to Eliud and Carmela Lara in Hearne, TX.

For over 30 years, he worked as a Business Administrator for EEAC Real Estate Developer.  Archie was called home to the Lord, while doing what he loved to do. He was an anointed worshipper, and had so much talent and skill as a pianist. But aside from being an anointed musician, Archie was also part of New Life Family Church’s CORE leadership team and shared so much wisdom. He was a reserved man full of wisdom, and when he would speak, we would listen.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Eliud and Carmela Lara. He is survived by his children, daughter Alexis (Alfonso), and sons Michael and Nathaniel Lara, whom he was greatly proud of. He is also survived by his siblings: Otoniel Lara, Chad (Olga) Perez, Marie (Melecio) Orozco, Eliud (Migena) Lara, Eliab Lara, Adiel (Claudia) Lara, Uriel (Nancy) Lara, Eliel (Isabel) Lara, Ilai (Elias) Rodriguez, David (Monica) Lara and Aaron Lara. 

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at 1720 E Griffin Pkwy, Mission TX 78572.
