Baldemar Garcia Sotelo

Palmview ~ Baldemar Garcia Sotelo, 64, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Thursday, October 20, 1960 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Eliseo Garcia and Delfina Sotelo. 

He is survived by his wife: Martha Arredondo; his children; Claudia Garcia, Jorge Garcia and Cynthia Vanessa Garcia; four sisters, two brothers, and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, October16, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 17, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 916 Leo Ave, La Joya. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens, 5050 3 Mile Line Rd., Mission.
