Bertha Isolina “Yayita” Bernal de Coronado, was born on March 10, 1933, in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and passed away on June 24, 2026, in McAllen, Texas, was a loving and spirited woman whose presence brought warmth, strength, and joy to all who knew her.

She lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to her family and by the quiet grace with which she met each day. Yayita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose H. Coronado, as well as her parents, Alejandro Bernal and Isolina Mendoza, and her brother, Jose Maria Bernal. She is survived by her daughters, Lucia Padilla, Nilda Coronado, and Ana Bertha Coronado, who will forever cherish the lessons, love, and example she gave them.
