Bryan Colby Sutherland

McAllen ~ Bryan Colby Sutherland, age 52, passed away at 7:14pm on Saturday May 4. Leaving behind two children (Ty Sutherland and Ava Sutherland). In Bryan’s youth he attended McHi and Marion High-school, later graduating from Marion High School. After grade school he enlisted in the navy in 1991 and received all sorts of awards and medals as well as getting to travel the world. He completed two tours in the Navy later getting Honorary Discharged from the Navy in 1999.

In 1997 Bryan had his first child (Ty Sutherland) with his wife (Cynthia Moreno) at the time. Following Bryan’s second child in 2004 (Ava Sutherland) with his wife at the time as well. Bryan grew to be a man of the community and a loving father. The generosity and love that radiated from this man has been greatly shown through these grieving times.

A lot of Bryan’s free time he spent with his children as much as he could, such as: fishing, cooking, taking trips, going to the movies, looking for valuable gemstones. Bryan was a man of all different types of trades as his line of work ranged far and wide, this allowed him to learn how he could help the community with anyone who needed help with anything mechanical or electrical. The loss of Bryan will greatly be felt by everyone who knew this loving and generous Man.

Gathering of family and friend will be held from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
