Carina Fuentes

Pharr ~ Carina Fuentes, 48, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at South Texas Health System McAllen. She was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1976 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Jacinto Fuentes and Mercedes Hernandez. 

Carina is survived by her loving family; husband: Leonel Garza Aguilar; children: Leonel Garza Jr., Yaneth Garza and David Garza; siblings: Alma Jaramillo, Silvia Fuentes, Maria Del Carmen Fuentes, Maribel Fuentes, Angelica Fuentes, Veronica Fuentes, Mayra Fuentes, Jacinto Fuentes and Luis Fuentes; she is also survived by her grandchildren: Cristian Garza, Angelica Santillan, Leah Garza, Ivan Santillan Jr., and Ezekiel Garza. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Chape service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 11:00 pm at La Piedad Cemetery.
