Carlos Gallegos

McAllen ~ Mr. Carlos Gallegos, 68, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 31, 2020 at his home in McAllen. Carlos was born on Sunday, February 25, 1951 in Mexico City, Mexico to Francisco and Josefina Gallegos. He was a long time resident of McAllen. He was an electrician. At a young age Carlos liked to box. He loved classic cars and enjoyed traveling. Carlos truly lived life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife: Adela Gallegos; his loving family; daughters: Darlene Gallegos (Eddie Rodriguez), Roxanne Gallegos, Erick Gallegos, Alan Gallegos (Aurora Hernandez), and Alexis Gallegos; siblings: Angelica Hernandez, Mary Morales, Anne Limon, Rosy Meza, Joe Gallegos, Roy Gallegos, Florina Castillo, Javier Gallegos Jaime Gallegos, Gabriela Sifuentes, Jorge Gallegos, Lupita Gallegos, and Juan Gallegos; four grandchildren: Jazmine, Derek, Dariana, and Abigail.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, February 3, 2020 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
