Carolina Soto Obituary

Edinburg ~ Carolina Soto, 70, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at home in Edinburg. She was born Saturday, October 14, 1950 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She was predeceased in death by her parents Genaro Fuentes and Petra Hernandez and one brother, Juan Antonio Fuentes. She was a breast cancer survivor for 13 years and many more operations that she faced as she went with life. She loved playing Mexican loteria and loved coca cola it was her favorite drink and knew she couldn't drink it due to her diabetes getting worst. Her favorite color was yellow and loved to listen to music as well. She also loved to go shopping when she was able to and love to spend on purses and shoes. My true hero and warrior that anybody knew. Always wanted to help people out and would donate to charities. Most of all she loved all her grandchildren with all her heart ❤.

She is survived by her husband: Luis Soto, Sr., their five children: Luis Soto, Jr. (Dalia), Liza Soto (Gerardo), Guadalupe Soto (Gilberto), Miguel Soto (Maribel), Rachel Campos (Daniel), 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by eight siblings: María de la Luz Fuentes, Josefina Fuentes, Irma Fuentes, Genaro Fuentes, Concepcion Fuentes, Juan Manuel Fuentes, Maria Elena Fuentes, and Marisa Alejandra Fuentes.
