Edinburg ~ Celia Treviño Flores, 57, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at South Texas Health System Edinburg. She was a faith-filled and kind woman whose gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Celia was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1969, in Pharr, Texas, the daughter of the late Jose Treviño and the late Paula Rivera.

Celia lived her life with devotion to her family and with a quiet strength that carried her through every season of life. She was a loving mother, a cherished sister, and a proud grandmother whose greatest joy came from the time she spent with those she loved. Her presence brought comfort, warmth, and encouragement, and she will be remembered for the compassion she showed to others and the love she gave so freely.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Lee Luna, Rita Ann Luna, and Jose Miguel Flores. She is also survived by her siblings, Anita Gutierrez, Dora Maria Ramos, Irma Treviño, Olga Treviño Estrada, Elisa Treviño, and Jose Treviño, Jr. Celia leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Miguel Alejandro Elizondo, Monceratte Juanita Elizondo, Isaac Elizondo, Zaiden Flores, and Ace Flores, who brought great happiness to her life and whom she loved dearly.

Those who knew Celia will remember her for her faith, her kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She faced life with grace and humility, and her memory will remain a source of comfort to those who mourn her passing. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, siblings, and all who were blessed to share in her life.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

Celia Treviño Flores will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her life was a testament to faith, kindness, and devotion to family, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she leaves behind.
