Christopher Gonzalez

Christopher Gonzalez, 33, of Sullivan City, Texas, entered eternal rest on June 30, 2026. Born on August 19, 1992, in Mission, Texas, Christopher was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and for the many memories he leaves behind.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Gonzalez Jr.; his parents, Juan Ramon Gonzalez and Silvia Calderon; his brothers, Juan Adrian (Angelica) Gonzalez, Jorge Abram (Selina) Gonzalez, Gregorio (Yessica) Gonzalez, Jose Roberto (Aide) Gonzalez, and Eduardo (Sarai) Gonzalez; his beloved grandmother, Amparo Calderon; seven nephews; and nine nieces.

Christopher lived life in his own way and enjoyed the simple things that made him happy. He loved going fishing, spending time with his brothers, and making memories with the people he loved most. His greatest love was his son, who meant everything to him.

If you knew Christopher, you knew he loved listening to his music turned up loud and enjoyed every meal. He had a big heart, a strong spirit, and leaves behind many memories that will never be forgotten.

Despite facing health challenges throughout much of his life, he never allowed them to define him or slow him down. He faced each day with strength, courage, and determination.

Though our hearts are broken, we will always remember his smile, his laughter, and the moments we shared with him. Christopher will forever be loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 pm and a Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Cremation will follow under the direction of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.

Christopher Gonzalez, de 33 anos de edad y residente de Sullivan City, Texas, entro en descanso eterno el 30 de junio de 2026. Nacio el 19 de agosto de 1992 en Mission, Texas. Christopher fue un amado hijo, padre, hermano y amigo. Sera recordado por el gran amor que tenia por su familia y por los muchos recuerdos que deja en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Christopher Gonzalez Jr.; sus padres, Juan Ramon Gonzalez y Silvia Calderon; sus hermanos, Juan Adrian (Angelica) Gonzalez, Jorge Abram (Selina) Gonzalez, Gregorio (Yessica) Gonzalez, Jose Roberto (Aide) Gonzalez y Eduardo (Sarai) Gonzalez; su querida abuela, Amparo Calderon; siete sobrinos; y nueve sobrinas.

Christopher vivio la vida a su manera y disfrutaba de las cosas sencillas que lo hacian feliz. Le encantaba ir de pesca, pasar tiempo con sus hermanos y crear recuerdos junto a las personas que mas amaba. El amor mas grande de su vida fue su hijo, quien significaba todo para el.

Si conocias a Christopher, sabias que le gustaba escuchar su musica a todo volumen y disfrutar de cada comida. Tenia un gran corazon, un espiritu fuerte y deja innumerables recuerdos que jamas seran olvidados.

A pesar de enfrentar desafios de salud durante gran parte de su vida, nunca permitio que estos lo definieran ni lo detuvieran. Enfrento cada dia con fortaleza, valentia y determinacion.

Aunque nuestros corazones estan llenos de tristeza, siempre recordaremos su sonrisa, su risa y los momentos que compartimos con el. Christopher sera amado por siempre, profundamente extranado y recordado eternamente.

La velacion se llevara a cabo el jueves, 2 de julio de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con un Servicio de Oracion a las 6:00 p.m. seguido del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en Rivera Funeral Home en Mission. La cremacion se llevara a cabo bajo la direccion de Rivera Funeral Home de Mission.
