Mission ~ Our beloved Clarissa Y. Gallegos, entered eternal sleep Sunday June 28,2020 in Cameron County, Texas. Clarissa was born September 14,1999 in Mission, Texas to Epifanio Gallegos and Melissa Ann Gutierrez. She attended Mission schools. She graduated from Sharyland Pioneer High School in 2017. Clarissa truly loved life. She enjoyed being around people, she loved to socialize, loved to swim, loved the beach, kids, shopping and dogs. Clarissa lived life to its fullest. She will forever be loved and remembered by her family and those that came to know her.
She was preceded in death her paternal grandfather: Epifanio Gallegos; her maternal grandparents: Amelia and Francisco Gutierrez.
Left to cherish Clarissa is her mother: Melissa Ann Gutierrez; her siblings: Saharie Gutierrez, Matthew Lee Gutierrez, Marissa Gallegos, and Nita Gallegos; her father: Epifanio Gallegos III; her grandma: Josefina Gallegos; extended family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N Conway Ave. in Mission from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. Chapel services will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
