Corina Fuentes

Pharr ~ Corina Fuentes, 93, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital at McAllen. She was born on Friday, May 27, 1932 in Rancho Pal Verde, Brownsville, Texas, the daughter of Santana and Aurelia Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Pedro Fuentes; a daughter: Mirna Corina Fuentes and a brother: Gilberto Tapia.

She is survived by two children: Pedro Fuentes and Juanita Fuentes; siblings: Juan Tapia and Irma Tapia; Children-in-law: Hector David Davila, Carlos Espinoza and Irma Fuentes; grandchildren:  Pedro Fuentes, Jr., Edgar Elier Fuentes, Alejandro Fuentes, Jesus Eduardo Fuentes, Mirna Sofia Espinoza and David Esau Fuentes; great-grandchildren: Nathan Fuentes, Ian Fuentes, Edgar Elier Fuentes, Jr., Jade Fuentes, Isabella Fuentes, Salvador Fuentes, Alejandra Fuentes, Genevieve Fuentes and Leilani Fuentes.

Visitation will be held from3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, August 3, 2025 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery, 449 E. Moore Rd., San Juan, Texas. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
