Cosme Villarreal Obituary

Palmview - Cosme Villarreal, 80, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at Briarcliff Nursing Center in McAllen. He was born Friday, March 17, 1939 in Mexico, the son of Jose Angel and Aurora (Magallan) Villarreal. Cosme enjoyed working on his ranch and taking care of the animals especially the goats and chickens. He loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children: Leticia Marin, Jesus Angel Villarreal, Demetrio Villarreal, Elia Tijerina and Jorge Villarreal; three brothers, Guadalupe Villarreal, Jose Izar Villarreal and Ernesto Villarreal; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
