Daniel Treviño Obituary

Daniel Coy Treviño, 59, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents: Cosme Treviño and Mary Green; sister Karen Aerts and infant brother Cosme Jr. Treviño.

Daniel was a hard working do it yourself man. He spent many years working at Knoll in Muskegon, Michigan before moving back to Texas recently. He was true outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, hunting with his son and gardening. He enjoyed playing his banjo and guitars along with other musical instruments and passing that love for music down to future generations. Daniel loved metal detecting along with antique and coin collecting. He really loved coffee, always had a cup in his hand. His children and grandchildren were his world and he especially loved taking them all fishing and teaching them how to garden.

Daniel is survived by his children: Daniel Treviño II (Shaya Moore), Gaylynn Rawdon (Trevor Rawdon), Stephanie Owen (Matthew Owen); siblings: Brenda Dalman, Cynthia Treviño, Tammy Houston, Lisa Treviño; grandchildren: Avalynn, Jaxon and Oliver Rawdon, Landon and Sedona Owen, Ayla, Grace and Garrett Treviño.

Celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at Lincoln Golf Club 4907 Whitehall Rd. Muskegon, MI. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
