Diana Yancy Martinez, a loving wife, mother and daughter passed away at the age of 49 on April 18th 2021. Diana was born on December 14, 1971 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jose Guadalupe Martinez and Maria De Los Angeles Martinez Serrata.
Diana was a hard worker, always on her feet. She enjoyed having gatherings with family and extended family. She always knew how to light up a room and have every one laughs and smiles. She was admired by many for her personality and kindness. She was truly one of a kind.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jaime. Diana is survived by her husband Ricardo Placeres, her daughter Karime Martinez, and her son Dylan Rodriguez. She is also survived by her brothers Edgar Martinez and Omar Martinez, and her sister Edna Martinez.
In loving memory, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You’re loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with celebration of Life service to begin at 6:30 PM at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd in McAllen, Texas.
