Domingo Garcia, Jr.

Alton - Mr. Domingo Garcia, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Mission Regional Medical Center at the age of 61 years. Domingo was born on December 20, 1957 in McAllen, Texas to Domingo and Manuela (Marez) Garcia. He was known and loved by many and was always helping others. He had a huge heart. Domingo loved and enjoyed dancing and listening to Tejano music, playing the guitar, and just spending time with family and friends. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He lived his life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. 

He is survived by his companion: Isabell Borjas; his children: Melody Garcia (Mike) Solis, Domingo (Anabel) Garcia, III, Jacqueline Garcia, Cassandra Garcia (Joshua) Qunitanilla and Alanna Garcia; his brother: Rene Garcia; his grandchildren: Freddy Marroquin, III, Anthony Marroquin, Alexandra Garcia, Amy Garcia, Virginia Garcia, Alyssa Quintanilla, Jude Quintanilla, Jax Quintanilla, Arabella Quintanilla, Genesis Cantu, Adrian Garcia, and Adela Martinez.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Templo Admirable, 307 TX-495 in San Juan at 11:00 am.
