Domingo Trejo

Domingo Trejo was called to heaven on July 20,2021 in the comfort of his home in McAllen,Tx. He was born in Donna,Tx to Norberto and Evangelina Trejo.

Mingo is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Gregoria Trejo, his children, Ida Trejo and Carlos Trejo, his grandchildren, Adriana D. Trejo (Nicholas Garcia), Enrique Trejo and Analisa Isquierdo. Honorary grandchildren, Vicente Ochoa (Marissa Ochoa), Elianna Ochoa, Claudia Arredondo (Ricardo Arredondo), and Rebecca Estrada. His siblings, Ernestina Olivares, Juan Trejo, Jacinto Trejo, and Santiago Trejo.

Mingo always carried a smile with him and lit up every room he walked into. It was always a guarantee you’d walk out with a sore belly with all the laughing since he was always a jokester. Mingo was a truck driver all his life and was very proud of his profession. When asked what he did for a living, he proudly answered, “I am a professional truck driver”. His favorite saying was, “Yo no doy mil gracias por mis hijos, yo doy un million de gracias por ellos.”

A Memorial mass will be held in honor of his life at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church,2209 Kendlewood Ave. in McAllen on Friday July 23,2021 at 2:00 p.m. Family is requesting masks on at all time. In lieu of flowers family asks memorial contributions to your favorite charity.

Funeral arrangements have been under the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
