El Dr. Domingo Jesus Lince Avendaño, de 61 años, entró en eterno descanso el dia Viernes 24 de Marzo del 2023 en su casa en McAllen, Texas. El Dr. Lince nació el 12 de Septiembre de 1961 en la Ciudad de México. Hijo de Domitilo Lince Frías y Luz Antide Avendaño Cobos. Hijo primogénito, hermano de Elizabeth y Audrey Lince. 

Le sobreviven su esposa, Noemi Quintanilla y sus tres hijos, Natasha, Kevin y Emiliano Lince y su nieto August Lince Pollard.

Creció en la ciudad de Poza Rica, Veracruz y siempre tuvo una profunda admiración y respeto por la profesión de su padre; eso combinado con su fuerte deseo de curar a los demás desde una temprana edad hicieron que tomara la decisión de seguir los pasos de su padre y seguir una carrera en el campo de la medicina. Asistió a la Universidad del Norteste en Tampico, Tamaulipas de donde se graduó con un Doctorado en Medicina (MD) en Marzo de 1995. El Dr. Lince conrinuó con su práctica privada por más de 20 años en Reynosa, Tamaulipas donde brindó cuidados a cientos de pacientes durante su carrera. Como donador de órganos registrado, pudo ayudar a salvar y mejorar las vidas de más de 75 personas. 

El Dr. Lince conoció al amor de su vida y alma gemela, Noemi Quintanilla, vacacionando durante su adolescencia en Mazatlán, Sinaloa en 1979. Se casaron en Lake Tahoe, California en Mayo de 1987. Después de vivir por 7 años en Reynosa, Tamaulipas decidieron reubicarse en McAllen, Texas donde vivirían durante el resto de la vida de él.

Domingo Lince fue un hombre de familia en toda la extesión de la palabra. Disfrutaba de organizar reuniones familiares y jugar fútbol con sus hijos. Era amoroso y un ferviente creyente de llevar un estilo de vida estimulante mentalmente, le gustaba leer, estudiar y actualizarse constantemente, le gustaba mantener su cuerpo sano y hacer ejercicio.

El vivirá eternamente en todos nuestros corazones como un padre excepcional, leal amigo, querido hijo, hermano y amado esposo.

Descanse en paz.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm el Jueves 30 de Marzo de 2023 en Rivera Funeral Home de McAllen y se rezará el Santo Rosario a las 6:30 pm.  Los arreglos funerarios han sido confiados al cuidado de Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

Dr. Domingo Jesus Lince Avendaño, 61, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 24th 2023 in his home in McAllen, Texas. Dr. Lince was born on September 12th 1961 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal to Dr. Domitilo Lince Frias and Luz Antide Avendaño Cobos. Firstborn son, brother of Elizabeth and Audrey Lince.

He is survived by his wife, Noemi Quintanilla and his three children, Natasha, Kevin, and Emiliano Lince and his grandson August Lince Pollard.

He was raised in the town of Poza Rica, Veracruz and always had a deep admiration and respect for his father's profession; that combined with his strong desire to heal others from an early age he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and pursue a career in the medical field. He attended La Universidad del Noreste en Tampico, Tamaulipas where he graduated with his doctorate in medicine (MD) in March of 1995. Dr. Lince then went into private practice for over 20 years in Reynosa, Tamaulipas where he provided care for hundreds of patients throughout his career. As a registered organ donor, he was able to help save and better the lives of over 75 individuals in need. 

Dr. Lince met the love of his live and soulmate, Noemi Quintanilla, while vacationing as teenagers in Mazatlán, Sinaloa in 1979. They went on to get married in Lake Tahoe, California in May 1987. After living in Reynosa, Tamaulipas for 7 years the two decided to relocate to McAllen, Texas where they would live for the remainder of his life.

Domingo Lince was a family man through and through. He frequently enjoyed hosting family get-togethers and playing soccer with his children. He was a loving person, loved ot read and was a lifelong learner, he liked exercising to keep a healthy body.

He will eternally live on in all our hearts as an exceptional father, a loyal friend, loving son, brother and beloved husband.

May he rest in peace.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 pm followed by a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm. Cremation to follow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
