Edelmira Coronado

Mission ~ Edelmira Coronado, 82, entered eternal rest on Friday February 21, 2025 at Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, April 18, 1942 in Rio Grande City, Texas, the daughter of Osvaldo J. Morales and Felicia Olivarez. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Guadalupe Coronado; and a brother: Rudy Morales.

She is survived by her children: Guadalupe Coronado, Jr., Deborah Coronado, Gustavo (Elena) Coronado, Jesus Jaime (Heather) Coronado and Rita (Roli) Coronado Cordova; siblings: Osvaldo J. Morales, Jr., Sylvia Garcia, Rolando Morales, Blanca Garcia, Ricardo Morales, Alex Morales and Dinora Reyes; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 620 Dunlap, Mission, Texas. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
