Eloy Canales, 40, went to heaven on December 1, 2022. He was born in McAllen on May 10, 1982, to parents Antonio and Dolores Canales.
Eloy and Aurora Silva raised three beautiful daughters together, Ashley, Samantha, and Lauren.
Eloy had a work ethic that was unmatched and displayed through his passion for the food industry. Throughout his career, he received several service and performance awards. He not only led and managed several people, but he also respected, appreciated and valued those people like family.
He had more friends and family than you could count. Eloy was always the life of the party and had the ability to make any room glow and put everyone in a cheerful mood. He was known as the jokester, the prankster, the funny guy. He always brought the “energy” and had a way of bringing out the best in people.
Eloy really enjoyed making memories with his wife and daughters, like being able to relax and take summer vacations to the beach. He also enjoyed the occasional nap on the couch with his dogs, Jaxson, Xena, Payton and Kori, (may she RIP) while falling asleep to the TV in the background.
Eloy is survived by his loving wife Aurora Silva, Mother Dolores Canales; Grandmother Nina Hernandez; children Ashley Villuendas, Samantha Canales, Lauren Canales; brothers Leonel Canales Michael Canales and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and friends.
He is now at peace, but he will live on forever in our hearts. He was loved so much and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace.
