Eric Jared Diaz

McAllen ~ Mr. Eric Jared Diaz, 23, entered eternal rest Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Eric was born April 14, 1998 in McAllen to Eric N. Diaz and Irasema Diaz. Eric Jared was a life long resident of McAllen. He attended McAllen Schools and excelled in his studies having graduated from McHi class of 2016. While in High School Eric played football for the Bulldogs. Eric was full of life. He loved gaming, music, enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with friends. But his daughter was his pride and joy. Eric truly lived life to its fullest. He will forever be remembered and loved by his family and those that came to know him. He was preceded in death by a brother Eric Neil Diaz Jr.
 

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved family; parents: Eric N. and Irasema; his loving daughter: Kailee Isabella Diaz, his girlfriend: Gabriela Ozuna; brother: Sadge Evan Diaz; sister: Iris Janel Diaz; maternal grandparents: Isaias Gonzalez and Diana Hermelinda Garza; paternal grandparents: Erasmo Diaz, Jr and Elva Diaz.
 

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd in McAllen. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St Joseph the Worker Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
