Ernestina T Olivares

On behalf of the Olivares family, I would  like to begin by thanking everyone for the countless phone calls, visits and thoughts and prayers. They have been both comforting during this difficult time and have been a reminder of the impact that our mother, Ernestina had on some many. 

Ernestina had 8 children: Gregorio Garcia, San Juanita Gutierrez, Marilu Martinez, Roberto Olivares, Cirpriano Olivares JR., Tina Marie Ramirez, Norma Lee Perez and is preceded in death by her son Eliazar Olivares. 

She leaves behind her loving husband Cipriano Olivares and 16 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Norberto Y. Trejo, and Evangelina  M. Trejo and her brothers and sisters Domingo Trejo, Basilisa Montemayor, Maria Luisa Garcia, Petra Basaldua and Jacinta Aguayo. 

Visitations will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday January 3, 2022 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn cemetery. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
