Estefana Gutierrez,91, entered eternal rest January 22, 2020 surrounded by her family in McAllen. Estefana was born June 19, 1928 in Reynosa, Mexico to Benito Saenz and Maria De Jesus Garza Saenz. Estafana was a resident of McAllen since 1977. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and family gatherings. Estefana will be dearly missed but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Miguel Angel Gutierrez; Two sisters.

Estefana is survived by her two daughters- Thelma Gutierrez, Olga Lydia (Victor) Gamez; Two sons- Eleazar Gutierrez, Pablo (Rosalinda) Gutierrez; Five grandchildren; Four sisters- Esperanza, Estela, Imelda, Blasita; One brother-Isaac.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral service is Monday, January 27, 2020 at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 10:00 am at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
