Eufemia Castillo

McAllen ~ Eufemia Castillo, 79, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 31, 2025 at her home in McAllen surrounded by her beloved husband of 60 years and family. She was born on Tuesday, July 31, 1945 in McAllen, Texas.

She is survived by her husband: Pedro Castillo, Jr.; three sons: †Pete Castillo†, Jaime Castillo and Danny Castillo; granddaughter: Melissa Castillo; her siblings: George Vasquez, Carlos (Irene) Vasquez, Teresa (Mauro) Santellañes, Victoria Kane and Lucy Davila.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.  Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, April 7, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
