Faustino Mendoza

McAllen ~ Faustino P. Mendoza, 88, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born Monday, February 15, 1932 in Fulshear, Texas, the son of Jesus and Francisca (Ponce) Mendoza. 

He is survived by his wife: Zenaida (Troncozo) Mendoza; his children: Rosa Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, Frances Garza, Isabel Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza, Yolanda Gutierrez, Ricardo Mendoza, Jesus Mendoza, Jose Eduardo Mendoza, Leticia Mendoza, Felix Troncozo and Maria de la Cruz Alvarado; five brothers and five sisters; 30 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
