Faustino Olmeda

McAllen ~ Faustino Olmeda, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 14, 2025 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on Friday, February 15, 1946 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico the son of Isidro Olmeda and Bernardina Pedroza. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria S. Gomez; his children: Israel Olmeda, Noe Olmeda, Ruth Olmeda, Alma Olmeda and Judith O. Flores; his siblings: Basilisa Olmeda, Maria N, Galaviz, San Juanita Buenrostro, Santiago Olmeda, Gregorio Pedroza and Juan Olmeda; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
