Mission ~ Mr. Feliciano Sauceda, 98, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 27, 2020 surrounded by his family at the comfort house in McAllen. Feliciano was born June 9, 1921 in Mission, Texas to Tomas and Paula Sauceda. He was a life long resident of Mission. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Feliciano truly lived life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Vicente Sauceda, Antonia Rodriguez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Miguel Sauceda, and Estanislada Gonzales.
Feliciano is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Amada Garza Sauceda; his children: Ramon Sauceda, Rodolfo Sauceda, Maria De Rosario Sauceda Potter (John L. Potter), Ramiro Sauceda (Veronica Almazar), Ruben Sauceda; his loving grandchildren: Sarah Potter, John S. Potter, Jessica (Jorge A.) Hurtado, Priscilla Sauceda, and Ramiro Sauceda Jr., his great-grandchildren: Macayla Richard, Madison Wingo, Jazlynn Hurtado, Jorge A. Hurtado Jr., Jeremiah Hurtado, and Jason Hurtado.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1813 N. Conway in Mission from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial rites will be celebrated Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
