Mr. Felipe Sandoval,95, entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 23, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Pharr. Felipe was born August 5, 1925 In Mexico to Antonio and Martha (Garza) Sandoval. Felipe was a past resident of Chicago. He was united in Marriage to the former Maria Teresa Rivera on March 19, 1960. He and his wife made Pharr Texas their home since 1975. Felipe enjoyed working and doing all kinds of stuff around his home. He worked for Jim Moffits property's for more than 15 years. Felipe was a welder by trade. He will be dearly missed by his family and those that came to know him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; His son Jose Antonio Sandoval;His numerous siblings.

Felipe is survived by his beloved family; His wife of 61 years Maria Teresa Sandoval; His sons- Gilberto and (Isabel) Sandoval, Felipe and (Lourdes) Sandoval; His sister- Herminia Sandoval; His Daughter in Law- Celia Sandoval;  His grandchildren- Benita, Krystal, Maria, Vanessa, Samantha,  Kristopher,  Xavier; 4 great grandchildren. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.

A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm. Memorial service will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Inurnmen will be at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery in Pharr. at 1:00 pm
