Felix Hernandez

Rio Grande City ~ Felix Hernandez, 58, entered into eternal rest on Sunday September 7, 2025 at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday August 10, 1967 in The Bronx, New York, the son of Felix Hernandez and Eleanor Gay. 

He is survived by his loving wife: Norma Martinez; his children: Wesley Rivera, Brandon Hernandez, Brittany Hernandez, Nicholas Colon, Hailey Hernandez and Faith C. Gallegos; siblings: Maritza Duarte and Kenneth Morales; four grandchildren.                      

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 with a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. A Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 620 N. Dunlap Ave. 78572, Mission. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens Cemetery, 5050 3 Mile Line Rd, Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
