Fidel Felix of McAllen, Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday September 22, 2026, at the age of 83. He was a caring and loving husband to his wife, a wonderful father to his children whom he loved deeply, and a role model for all his grandchildren. Family unity and love for one another were things he valued most.
Mr. Felix was a successful and respected builder and contractor with an outstanding reputation throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He was a remarkably hardworking and dedicated man who approached every aspect of his life with passion and integrity. Whether in his career, his hobbies, or his devotion to his family, he always gave his absolute best in everything that he did. He believed in the value of an honest day’s work and led by example, inspiring his children and grandchildren, and everyone around him to strive for excellence.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Matilde Felix, seven children, Letty Schubert of Corpus Christi, TX, Janie Maldonado (Xavier) and Mayra Muñoz (Jorge) of McAllen, TX, Yoli Mora (Robert) of Mission, TX, Adele Beltran (Aaron) and Martie Martinez (Gilbert) of Edinburg, Jorge Felix (Celeste) of Buda, TX, and his brothers, Humberto and Antonio Felix.
Grandchildren: Lorie Heredia, Michael Luna, Leslie Schubert, Kristi Nava, Karina Maldonado, Albert Maldonado, Jessica Davila, Robert Mora Jr., Daniel Mora, Keith Mora, Bianca Beltran, Ben Beltran, Samantha Felix, Adam Felix, Matthew Felix-Lopez, Mark Martinez, Luke Martinez, John Martinez, Melanie Muñoz, Madison Muñoz, Jorge Muñoz, and Jacob Muñoz.

He will be deeply missed, but the lessons he taught us and the values he instilled will remain with us forever. His legacy will live on through his family, his friends, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Until we meet again.
