Francisca Garcia Peña

Mercedes ~ Francisca Garcia Peña, 88, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2023 surrounded by her love ones at home in Mercedes.  She was born on Sunday, February 17, 1935 in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Santiago Garcia Andrade and Crecencia Garcia Zapata. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Aaron Paez.

She is survived by a daughter: Norma Paez (Eduardo Arguello); grandchildren: Jaime Marroquin (Karen Marroquin), Yuliana De la Paz (Anibal De la Paz), Brenda M. Lopez (Jorge Lopez); 14 great-grandchildren, and a nephew: Javier Rios (Lupita Rios)

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral services and burial will be held in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Rivera Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
