Guadalupe Castillo Bustamante

Pharr ~ Guadalupe S. Castillo, 78, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 30, 2020 at her home in McAllen.  She was born on Wednesday, April 22, 1942 in Pharr, Texas, the daughter of Pedro and Dominga (Habecker) Soto. She enjoyed cooking, watching T.V. (novelas) and playing bingo.

Survivors include her children: Concepion (Linda) Bustanmante Jr., Francisco Javier (Omalee) Bustamante, Luis Carlos (Marla) Bustamante, Juan Edwardo (Rosa) Bustamante, Anna Pineda, Norma De Leon, and Esperanza Bustamante; brothers: Max (Alma) Habecker and Lorenzo Soto; sister: Madeline (Joseph) Behal; 21 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2020 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.  Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
