Guadalupe Chapa Obituary

Guadalupe Chapa, 75, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home in Mission, Texas. He was born in Camargo, Tamaulipas on January 26, 1945 to Jose and Isabel Chapa. He is proceeded in death by his parents Jose and Isabel Chapa as well as his sister Angelica Sosa. 

  He was a very outgoing and friendly man who enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories about his family. His passion for vehicles led him to a career in trucking which allowed his to visit numerous places. After retiring he devoted most of his time to his children and grandchildren.

  Left to cherish his memories are his children, Karina (Tony) Martinez, Vanessa (Ricardo Jr.) Ochoa, Adrian Chapa; his sister Minerva (Roberto) Gonzalez and his brother-in-law Pablo (Angelica+) Sosa. His grandchildren; Kevin De La Garza, Ileana Martinez, Ricardo Ochoa III, Nicholas Ochoa and Andres Martinez.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Burial will follow to L & I Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
