Hector Garza

McAllen ~ Hector Garza, a kind, faith-filled, and spirited man, passed away peacefully in McAllen, Texas, on August 20, 2023, at the age of 69. Born in Monterrery, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on May 5, 1954, Hector's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and perseverance. He was a resident of McAllen for many years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hector and Carmen (Chavana) Garza. 

Hector was a devoted husband to his wife, Noelia Salinas Garza, He is survived by his seven sons: Gabriel, Andres Alfredo, Mario Alberto, Hector Daniel, Abel, Gilberto, and Miguel Angel Garza; 11 grandchildren; siblings; San Juanita, Sara, Humberto, Aurora, Beatriz and Jesus.

Hector's legacy will live on through his family, and his memory will be cherished forever.

In conclusion, Hector Garza was a man of faith, a man of spirit, and He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Santa Fe Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements and services are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
