Mr. Hector Luis Garza,68, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 24, 2020 at his residence. Hector was born October 29, 1951 in McAllen to Hector Juan Garza and Fidela Muniz Fuentes. Hector was a life long resident of McAllen. Hector proudly served his country with the United States Army. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; His Step Father Gumaro Fuentes Jr. two sisters- Maria Alma Martinez and Leticia Fuentes.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters- San Juanita (Max) Griego, Norma Linda (Santiago) Salinas, Lizabeth Laughlin (Lino Guerra), Thelma Lou Ritter; His brother Gumaro (Belen) Fuentes Jr., and numerous of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Inurnment with military honors by VFW 8788 of McAllen will be Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans cemetery in Mission.
