Hermelinda Espinosa Vda. de Espinoza

McAllen ~ Hermelinda Espinosa Vda. de Espinoza, 93, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Mission Valley Nursing and Transitional Care Center. She was born on Friday, February 14, 1930 in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of the late Concepcion Espinosa and the late Leonor Gutierrez Vda. de Espinoza. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Isauro Espinoza; three children: Isauro Espinoza, Jr., Jaime Espinoza and Cecilia Espinoza; and a grandson: Rolando Espinoza, Jr.

She absolutely LOVED singing, sawing, crafting, cooking and most of all, loved her kids unconditionally.  She would never hesitate to help others.  Her cooking was the best!  She was unstoppable.

She is survived by her children: Concepcion Espinoza, Reyna H. Espinoza, Rolando Espinoza and his wife, Mary Isabel Espinoza, and Javier Espinoza; grandchildren: 

Grandkids: Reyna Cecilia Ruano (Arturo Ruano), Leonore Mireles (Jorge Mireles), Jimmy Espinoza (Rocio Espinoza), David Espinoza, Loida Espinoza de Garcia (Manuel Garcia), Cesar O. Espinoza, Sabrina L. Espinoza, Yadira Espinoza Toy (Omar Toy), Javier Espinoza, Jr., Vanessa Espinoza, Michael Espinoza, R.Alejandro Espinoza-Davila (Tiffany Sierra), Carolina C. Cavazos (Mario Cavazos, Jr.) and Glenda Espinoza; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, December 17, 2023 with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
