Ignacio Gonzalez,Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in McAllen. Ignacio was born on Decmeber 14, 1957 in McAllen to Ignacio and Adelfa Concepcion (Gallegos) Gonzalez. Ignacio was a life long resident of McAllen. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Igancio will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Ignacio was preceded in death by his father-Ignacio Gonzalez and his mother Adelfa Concepcion Gallegos Gonzalez.

Ignacio is survived by his wife Gloria Carlos Gonzalez; His children- George Gonzalez and Janice Gonzalez; Siblings- Alicia Ramirez, Noe Gonzalez, Criselda Leal, Rigoberto Gonzalez; our grandchildren- George Villalobos Gonzalez, Aleathia Martinez, Michael Alaniz, and Alexa Gonzalez.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery in Mission.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
